Background:
To ensure volunteers are well-prepared for the upcoming services, we are offering a series of induction training. Each training will cover the overview of a specific museum / office (history, mission, future development, activities, volunteer service opportunities etc.), as well as an interesting sharing on the curatorial concept and stories behind key exhibition(s).

Art Promotion Office (APO) aims to raise the public's interest in art creation and appreciation, and let everyone experience the fun of art. Through vA! and Oi!, the two art spaces managed by APO, the office provides professional facilities for art creation and a platform for artists to display their creativity and exchange ideas, to let art embark and be realised here. APO would invite volunteers to support on fixed-point guided tours, and conduct visitor survey. APO would also invite volunteers to help on Fun Days, such as maintaining order, crowd control and to provide usher service. The training programme will offer an opportunity for the volunteers to interact with the Curator (Community Art) and Assistant Curators from APO. The speakers will introduce the venue Oi! and its annual spotlight exhibitions including“Oi! Spotlight: The Golden Realm by Toyofuku Ryo”, "Oi! Spotlight: The Garden of Resemblances", "Oi! Spotlight: With Love from Hong Kong" and the facilities at Oi! and other points to note will also be mentioned. *Training workshop will be conducted in Cantonese, supplemented by bilingual presentation slides in Chinese and English. |

Location: Oi! - 12 Oil Street, North Point, Hong Kong (MTR Fortress Hill Station Exit A) No. of volunteers (Max. Capacity): 50 volunteers per session (will be divided into two groups)

Speaker/ Organisation: Curator (Community Art) and Assistant Curators from Art Promotion OfficeRegistration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 noon on 3 April 2025 (Thursday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants.
The successful
applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 9 May 2025 (Friday).
The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
