Background:Oi! has been actively examining the possibility of showcasing art in the community, aspiring to create an art oasis in the city. Oi! Spotlight, our flagship project starting from March, aims to showcase the creativity of local and international artists, encourage cross-cultural dialogues, foster cultural exchanges between regions and embrace innovative ideas. Two contemporary art exhibitions featuring two artists Adrian Wong and Phoebe Hui will be held at Oi! Warehouses 1 & 2 from March 2025.

- To introduce exhibitions and artworks to visitors; - to assist in daily gallery operation and manage crowd control; - to host fixed-point guided tours - to record attendance at the gallery; - to conduct visitor survey; and

to provide
accessibility support.

Date: 29 March 2025 to 29 June 2025 (Every Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays)
Time: 9:45 am – 1:45 pm; and 2:45pm – 6:45 pm
(Two sessions each day, with each session lasting 4 hours; please choose to serve in both the morning and afternoon sessions, or only in the one session.)

Requirement:

- Fluent in spoken Cantonese, proficiency in Mandarin and English is a plus. - Polite, good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner. - Completed Secondary 5 education level or above.

Priority will be given to those who have experience of
working as docent/ ambassador/ customer service in art-related workplaces.
Briefing All successful applicants are required to attend the briefing session to learn more about the service details. Date: 22 March 2025 (Saturday) Time: 11:00 am – 12:00 nn Location: Oil Street Art Space (Oi!), 12 Oil Street, North Point, Hong Kong Details: Artists and the staff from Oi! will introduce the exhibition and the artwork, as well as the background of Oi!, duties and gallery operation. |
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 27 January 2025 (Monday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 20 February 2025 (Thursday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
