Background: The Hong Kong Space Museum will transform into a "Starry Wonderland". The participants can stargaze with astronomical telescopes at the Rooftop and learn about the knowledge of astronomy by joining treasure hunt in the exhibition halls.
Details:
- To prepare the treasure hunt activities
- To operate the treasure hunt activities
- To assist in stargazing activities. The volunteers may work in outdoor venue.
- To assist in distributing souvenirs to participants who completed the activities
- To assist in maintaining order in the activity. The participants may queue adjacent the Museum if there are many visitors. So, the volunteers may work in outdoor area.
- To assist in the distribution of participation pass
- To assist in clean up after the activity
Date: 7 June 2025 (Saturday)
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Including 1 hour briefing and preparation time; activity time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)

Requirement:
- Fluent in spoken Cantonese and able to communicate with visitors in simple Putonghua and English preferred
- Polite and has good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner
- Form 5 or above
- Priority will be given for whom have experience in astronomy education; or providing services in Hong Kong Space Museum or Hong Kong Science Museum
- Required to attend the briefing and preparation session to familarise with the service details
Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 10 April 2025 (Thursday).
Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 9 May 2025 (Friday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately. Activities are subject to change, please refer to the Secretariat’s announcements as final.
